The Real Estate Tax is regulated in articles 60 to 77 of the Consolidated Text of the Law Regulating Local Taxation (Texto Refundido de la Ley Reguladora de las Haciendas Locales) approved by Legislative Royal Decree 2/2004, dated 5 March, and specified in the tax byelaws of each town council.
